The Primary Care Physician

Today we took Sherry to see Dr. Garb, her primary care physician, to get a clearance (required by Methodist Hospital) for her to undergo surgery. Tomorrow we take her over to the Kirby surgical center to have her elbow repaired.

How's she doing? She's very tender; moving slow. She's in good spirits. She appreciates all the prayers, thoughts, and well-wishes.

  1. Dear Sherry and Randy,

Dub and I will hold you both close to our hearts tomorrow as you undergo surgery to repair your elbow. We have already begun our prayers for your upcoming operation on November 4. Thank you for this remarkable blog that has given us an idea of what you both are going through as you wind your way through this impromptu journey.

We will LOVE you through this!

  2. Thanks, Suzanne! All the warm well-wishes, lifting up, and prayers we're getting from our parish friends has really helped us both keep up our spirits. She's a good patient, and we have wonderful doctors here in just about the best medical center in the world. She's going to be fine. The therapy to follow is going to be a challenge, but she's a real trooper and will be good at it. Thanks again. - Your friends, Randy and Sherry
