Today, Sherry visited the two surgeons who operated on her eye and cheek area. Both report that they are pleased with the outcome of their work and with the way Sherry's healing.
She still has lots of bruising and considerable swelling, but things are on the mend, and we are optimistic. She also continued her physical therapy exercises here at the house, and we're seeing some improvements with her hand, elbow, and arm.

ReplyDeleteLynn and Kip -- thank you so much. Lynn, your sweet note arrived yesterday, and she loved it. Thank you for writing. She's taken a pretty bad beating, but she's faithful, disciplined, hard-working, and she's determined to get back on her feet. Heck, it was just nine fractures, eh? She's a pretty tough gal, and with the help of God and the loving support of friends like you guys, she'll be as good as new. Already, she's doing better. Heck today, she laughed at one of my corny jokes. :) Love you guys. Thanks so much.
